Magnolia

Hi All,
This card was a challenge. I have never used to different designer papers together. I think these match pretty good. I will have to do a few more of these to see if I can get the hang of it. Well off to work again. Thanks for stopping by and looking.

Magnolia

Hi All,
Here is my latest creation. I layered some designer paper over the lavender cardstock. I stamped Tilda holding baby on white cardstock, then used my watercolor crayons and pencils to color her in. I topped it off wrapping the designer paper in light purple ribbon and placed a prima flower over the knot. Hope you enjoy and till later.

Here is super quick card that I had needed for a friend. All I did was layered some designer paper on some black cardstock then onto my background paper. I put a gem in the middle of the flower for eye catcher.

Hope you enjoy

Criss Cross Card

Hi,

Here is a card I made using a criss cross technique. This is a simple yet pretty card. After I crossed the papers I used a glue dot to keep the red snowflake paper from coming up. The pink band slides up and down. I made the note card have a pull tab on it, made it much easier to get out.

Till later.

Masking

Hi All,

Here is a card that I used SU stamps on. I used the heard stamp and masked it to get the overlap affect. I then used a sponge to dab the color around the edge of the paper to give it a distressed look. I used SU markers to color in the image.

Hope you enjoy.

Packing Tape

Hi All,

Here is a card I made using SU stamps. I used my fiskars texture plate to make the texture on the right hand side of the paper. This would have been a ton easier if I had a cuddle bug. Maybe at Christmas. Anyway, I used some designer paper that I picked up at my local scrapbook store. I then used my scallop punch and circle punch to make a boarder for the fish. I used paking take and put glitter on it before I adheared it to the fish. Hope you enjoy and untill later.

Cards for those who care for Alzheimer's patients

Today is World Alzheimer’s Day, Carolyn King is offering a huge Blog Candy. She is requesting that we send out cards to those that have taken care of family or friends that had Alzheimer's disease. This is very important as these caregivers work really hard for all of our friends and family members. Here are a couple of cards that I will send out on Monday. I don't personally have anyone to send them to, so I have used the following address from Carolyn. If you don't have anyone to send to, use the following address and send there. This is a home that Carolyn's grandma was in. Thanks for participating and here is the address.

Here is a card I made the other day. I used
chipboard hearts and clouds and a few sheets of designer paper. Simple, easy, and most of a quick card when needed.

Fall Cleaning

Hi All,

Here is my newest creation. I call it fall cleaning. The stamp I used is Tilda with broom from Magnolia. I water colored this with really rust (SU), Burgundy (SU) and Chocolate chip (SU). I then layered this with chocolate chip and a beige paper for the background. I then used Sahara Sand and brushed it over the white cardstock, to make it appear as dust. I have not put the sentiment on it yet, as I am unsure who I will be sending this too. Anyway I hope you enjoy this card.
